chan Today all the secondary 2 students went for a learning journey to several places, namely Kranji War Memorial, Battle Box, Changi Museum [the place with 2 chapels] Our first stop was Changi Museum, nothing interesting there because i went there before, everything looks the same from the last time i went about 3 years ago!

Before we headed for the battle box, Isaac, Evan, Caleb, Shuian Yen, Loui, Xin quan and i went to Funan Digital Mall to have lunch at mcdonalds (they stopped us at funan and we had to either go Macs, KFC or a food court) Isaac, evan and i waited aabout 15 mins for our food when we only had 25 mins for a break, thus we ate very "Haphazardly" and finished within approx. 12 mins Inc. help from the other table, Loui, XQ, SY, caleb

2nd OFFICAL stop was battle box, probably the most interesting part of the trip. We went underground to a place supposedly to be 9m deep.... There were many wax figures there, mainly of Japanese and British Soilders including General Percivil. It was kind of creepy as they had speakers installed and it really looked like they were talking (wax figures). We went to a place with two gates opposite each other and upstairs was a "guard tower", the climb was very narrow. Isaac and i tried to squeeze together but we failed, apparently. The view was so-so because of the trees that blocked our view. We even got a (all guys) class photo outside which is posted on the class blog.

Third Offical stop was at Kranji War Memorial, there was steps where they say "Do not step, for religious purposes" or smth like that. The teacher, did not see the sign and he stepped on it =.=" after that we went to see the tombstones, all 4,500 of them. To tell you the truth, he didn't look like 4,500.... we proceeded to the walls up the hill where approx. 24,500 names were written, those names written were soilders who fought bravely for Singapore. After that we were asked to stand to attention to a song called "The Last Post" and someone fainted while we were standing still. That was freaky, he was some guy from our school....

When we were all ready to leave, Yasmeen found out she'd lost her camera and started panicking, she went with the teacher to the memorial site whilst the rest of us were seated comfortably in the air-conditioned bus. 15mins later, she came and said she couldn't find it, thus she went again. 15mins later she came back still with no news, the faciliators told her that there was no time left as we were already half an hour behind scheldue, thus when we were getting ready to set off. Guess what? Yasmeen checked her jacket, and voila! she found her camera!! That was a waste of time =.=

On the bus ride back to school, Caleb, Jun De, Rohit were sleeping. Thus i took photos of caleb, whereas kitty passed me her camera to take a picture of isaac with sleeping jun de (it was isaac's idea) whereas Jeramiah gave Rohit a poked in the stomach while he was sleeping, he got such a shock that he literally jumped out of his seat with bulging eyes glaring at us. That was funny!!
