chan Heheh sorry for the post-CNY post though CNY actually ends in 13 days. Today we had the CNY concert, we had to perform twice, once for the upper secondary (3,4,5) and the lower secondary (1,2). The difference between the two performances were enormously obvious, reason being in the first performance for the upper sec the Gu Zheng was too loud because of the mike. Thus when the Gu Zheng played faster, it was very messy and thus when i had to play, i was totally lost because the Gu Zheng was covering the sounds of the other instruments like the Er Hu. And the conductor sped up almost 1.5x the original speed, which made me totally panic because i lost my tempo and i had to play loudly at the same time, so definitely messed up. The second performance was much better because first thing, the sec 1,2 aren't as intimidating as the 3,4,5 and because the Gu Zheng was much softer because of the mike!!

After the performance we waited till 3 for the sec 1,2 to be dismissed and we were given a lecture on our performance. We were also asked to rate our performance for the first and second performances, the first one majority put 5-6 and the second 7-8! Then the teacher say we would have gotten CoP for the first performance. Dam im tired, i came back from school at about 4.10pm and bathed till 4.20pm ate lunch at 4.30 and rested till 5 then i went to do grammar till 5.30 and i slept till 6, did another grammar till 6.30 and here i am posting this!
